OPEN HEART, OPEN MIND

One of the attributes we develop through a mindfulness practice is the quality of openness. That is, we drop our expectations and do our best to welcome both the “good” and the “bad.” To practice being open, we don’t have to like all the cards we are dealt but we don’t waste our energy fighting against reality (or pretending it isn’t happening).

To be open is to take an I’ve got this approach to life’s tricky moments and realise that every situation is workable. I feel like the last 12 months have been full of opportunities to practice this quality. You too?
