CONTROLLING THE UNCONTROLLABLE
According to Buddhist philosophy, the root of suffering is resisting the certainty that no matter who we are or what we do, uncertainty is all we really have. If we accept that we can never really know what will happen next, then it is up to us to determine if not-knowing is something to fear or is actually part of the adventure.
Pema Chodron says what we call uncertainty, is actually the open quality of any given moment. If we accept that everything there is, is already preparing to disappear, we can let go and enjoy the ride.
One quote…
When nothing is certain, everything is possible.
Mandy Hale
One question…
What would life look like this week, if we took on this concept 100%?
