CHALKING UP THE WINS
One of our teachers (the wonderful Kayla) shared a post on her social media last week listing her wins for the year that was. It inspired me so much that I wanted to share it here with you.
It is no secret that 2020 threw us all a huge curve ball and there's so much that didn’t go to plan, got cancelled or uprooted. How uplifting to reflect on what was achieved. I have included my wins list below and I hope you feel prompted to reflect on your own achievements, no matter how big or small.
This year I:
♡ opened a business in the middle of a global pandemic
♡ brought together a team of incredible teachers with such unique talents
♡ survived home schooling (twice)
♡ got over my fear of being on camera and taught online yoga
♡ rediscovered (and made time for) my love of running
♡ began to pay the rent to our traditional land owners
♡ furthered my studies in mental health and Buddhism
One quote…
Think of yourself like a captain, and you’ve got this little boat. Sometimes the weather’s good, and you’re just sailing, and sometimes big storms hit, and you know, you’re in a stormy sea, but just ride it out, ride it out. Because it’s good to be alive.

One question…
What are your wins for the year that was?
Sent with love and wishes for a safe and happy new year.
