Free Community Satsang
Join us for an evening of conversation and a chance to come together without "doing" yoga. These sessions focus on elements of yoga that are not movement based.
This session will be lead by Ziggy and our conversation will centre around the yogic concept of Dharma and what yoga has to say about finding meaning and purpose in our everyday lives.
Looking at some of the traditions most incredible ideas, this community event will be both inspiring and uplifting. These community gatherings are an important part of the yoga tradition, and are known as a Satsang. A combination of the Sanskrit words ‘sat’ meaning true and ‘sangha’ meaning community, it can be roughly translated to ‘being in the company/presence of truth’.
Free for members (active direct debit or upfront 3, 6, 12 month membership) and $15 for drop-in.

Ziggy is a much loved member of the Assembly Yoga team.
Ziggy’s love of people and exercise, melded with a keen interest in psychology, spirituality and philosophy, led him to yoga and meditation. He is passionate about helping people discover the tools for their own personal practice and educating them around the mechanics of the mind and the benefits of meditation and yoga, leading others to live a life of greater freedom, joy and well-being.
