Yin yoga is a form of yoga that uses gentle, supported stretching to target our fascia (the connective tissue surrounds and holds every organ, bone and muscle in place).
When we are stressed, the fascia tightens up. The deep stretches and long holds in yin yoga allows us to release tension. When combined with reiki, a method that uses energy to facilitate healing, this practice can be deeply restorative, with the potential to significantly alleviate stress.
